Dan’s journey began in the picturesque North Carolina mountains, where he fell in love with rock climbing. But his adventurous spirit craved more, so he packed up his minivan and headed west. In Kansas City, he delved into the thrilling world of skydiving and BASE jumping, honing his skills with passion. Yet, the allure of the mountains drew him further, leading him to Denver, Colorado.
Undaunted by challenges, Dan conquered peaks and embraced the exhilarating freedom of BASE jumping. His determination culminated in a triumphant leap from the legendary Eiger’s North Face, cementing his place in adventure history.
Inspired by his love for thrilling escapades, Dan founded the Denver Climbing Company in 2015. What started as a hobby turned into a fulfilling vocation as word spread about Dan’s ability to connect with clients and empower them to overcome fears. He has guided people of all ages and abilities, collaborating with schools, corporations, and the Colorado Center for the Blind.
Dan’s indomitable spirit led to remarkable achievements. He holds the world record for the highest climbing wall, suspending one from a hot air balloon. His inventive mind also created Practi Bolts, a patented innovation for climbers. His Instagram account has become a go-to resource for adventure enthusiasts.
