Dan and his team are absolutely incredible. They led our group of 10 new preteen rock climbers and were phenomenal. They were patient, encouraging and really taught our group to work together, breathe thru tough spots and fears and literally climb to new heights. These guys are true pros and you can tell they love what they do! Highly recommend!!!!

The Denver Climbing Company thought of everything from selecting the right climbing course for your level, detailed instructions/what to bring for your course, directions to the location, and a super efficient process to get set-up and climb. Dan was prepared with all our gear, routes were set before we arrived, and he gave seamless instructions to get us climbing safely. We had a few different climbs that catered to different levels which was great. I would highly recommend climbing with Dan and team for all levels if you want a fun day just a 30 minute drive outside of Denver! Climb on!

Denver Climbing Company led an amazing tour for our group! They were extremely accommodating and helpful before, during, and after our tour. When the weather turned on us, they immediately made different plans to keep us adventuring! I highly recommend this company for any climbing-related activities!

We called in last minute (a part of 9) and Dan was so accommodating. He explained every little detail, showed us how to best use the equipment and also climbing techniques. Once we got comfortable with climbing and asked to climb a more difficult route, he was more than happily to do that for us. Dan always kept a close watch and cared for our safety constantly. Definitely going back.

Dan is a real professional who led a group of 7 of us for a morning of climbing. I’ve done some indoor climbing, but it was my first time outside. As someone afraid of heights, I was a bit nervous but Dan was excellent both at making sure we were being safe and also helping us push our limits. I wouldn’t have made it as far without Dan there. He was prepared for everything and we had a great time! Definitely recommend this tour

Rock Climbing with the Denver climbing company was 10/10 experience for me. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who has a taste for outdoor adventure sports.
We were not sure of what to do on our last day in Denver, and luckily found out about the Denver climbing company through our Hotel. Me and my girlfriend signed up for the “Intro to Outdoor Rock climbing” class. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, I hadn’t done rock climbing ever before, but this course was extremely well crafted, to make sure that a person with no background in rock climbing is able to do it easily.
Since, it was the Memorial Day weekend, only 4 people had signed up for that batch. Dan, the owner of the company was extremely energetic, professional, and cared about providing the best experience possible. We were provided a complimentary shuttle service to and from to the Rock climbing spot and our Hotel, which means we spent no time in worrying about arriving at the right hiking spot.
Dan, gave us a good overview of the course and “what to expect”, teaching us the basics of rock climbing, etiquettes, and safety tips before we got started. Every equipment, knot and technique was double-checked by him to ensure safety.
Once we started the ascend, it was very challenging yet the most electrifying thing that I had done in my past few years. Dan was very helpful and continuously pushed us all the way during the ascend. On top of this, the view of the the Denver Downtown and Golden city is just absolutely stunning.
This was an incredible experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient with our entire group of 7 guys. We chose the option that included transportation. Even though our group consisted of various fitness levels, everyone had a great time! Our guide encouraged everyone and took some pretty cool pictures.
If you go while there is still some ice, I would recommend wearing shoes with a good tread as it can get slippery on the hike down.

Dan was an amazing guide for our rock climbing trip in Denver for my bachelor party. He was very communicative and responsive, and pickup and drop off at our Airbnb was a breeze! Dan is an incredibly skilled climber and was able to coach the entire seven-person group across three separate climbs and ensured that we were safe throughout the trip. Only one person had outdoor climbing experience prior to the trip, but we all left knowledgeable and confident in our abilities to belay and tie secure knots. Seriously, this is a can’t-miss event and Dan’s professionalism, enthusiasm, and expertise really made it a spectacular experience!

The 5 star reviews this company has received are definitely genuine. Me and 4 of my friends visited Denver for my bachelorette and decided to try some rock climbing. One of my bridesmaids had some child care missteps and so I called Dan to try and get a refund for her. I explained we had a 14month in tow and my bridesmaid would need to stay behind to watch him. Dan didn’t miss a beat, he offered an easier trial hike to us and said it wouldn’t be a problem for us to switch off climbing and take turns watching my friends baby. He said there was plenty of shade that we could set up a play pen in. We were delighted we would all be able to go.
We met Dan at Canal Zone Parking, and as promised made a short 15minute hike to our climbing spot. He checked on us regularly during the hike and even offered to carry our baby’s play pen.
Safety is of upmost importance to him. His instructions on knot tying, belaying, safety, and actually climbing were both entertaining and easy to understand. Even though none of us had ever climbed real rock before we all felt incredibly safe and we all made it to the top multiple times under his instruction. We had a great time climbing. Dan was charismatic, took all the pictures we wanted (and then some), and put up with all the ridiculous banter of my friend group. Nothing short of the best. The highest recommendation.
If you’re even considering trying rock climbing. Look no further. This is the place you want to go.
